It is SOOO hard not to watch TV!! Why?!?!!! I thought I would have a hard time not using Instagram or Facebook, but surprisingly those have been easy to stay away from. But Netflix? The struggle is real. On Thursday I went and hung out with my best friend all day - she wasn't feeling well, and her sweet husband texted and asked if I could bring her medicine (*awww). So I did. And we binged watched "Jane the Virgin" on Netflix. Now I'm hooked - it's an issue. Only 14 more days until I can finish the season, and probably do it in one sitting...
On the bright side, I really have enjoyed spending time with my husband. We just sit on the couch and talk - what a concept! It's so reminiscent of when we were dating and would talk on his parents' couch every night for hours and hours. It's reminded me of why it was so easy to fall in love with him in the first place. Swoon.

Your family is so cute! I love that you said you remembered how it was so easy to fall in love with your husband after taking time to talk. One of my favorite parts of the day is at the end of the day when my husband and I can fall asleep to pillow talk. I, too, find myself falling in love with him again and again. There is something so amazing about interacting with someone face-to-face rather than over media. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIt is so brave of you to do a media fast. I don't know if I could handle it! It is amazing though, how much we miss out on when we spend our time on media. Also, your family is adorable.
